On the road that runs alongside Loch Maree is this shed that, fortunately is in a gloriously weather-beaten state. Certainly the distinct colours seen within the corrugated iron were what initially drew me to the image but I felt it needed something extra. The reflection of the autumnal tree in the window was what I was looking for, it seems to add welcome balance and relationship with the delicate grasses in the foreground. I am also fond of the shape of the negative space that is formed by the corrugation. Something that I was not conscious of until I began processing of he image, although I am sure that I was sub-conciously aware of it during framing.
