It was the vertical elements that drew me to making this image. Whilst looking for the best composition I chanced to glance back over my shoulder and saw the cyclist approaching. I quickly decided that with his light coloured mac it would be a good element to include in the right hand third. I also think it brings a narrative to the image which works quite well.
