The cliffs, on the southern side of the Isle of Wight, are predominately red in hue. On this occasion the colouration has been significantly enhanced by the setting of the winter sun. I loved the overall colour balance here, the oranges and reds against aqua of the sky and surf. I was intrigued and struck by the rivulets water emanating from the base of the cliff. Reflecting, as they do, the aqua/blue from the sky I feel it adds a subtle transition between the dominant colour themes. A magical end to the day, albeit observed from a somewhat precarious position!
